Pete Pizarro

Pete Pizaro is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of eLandia International, Inc. Appointed to this position in May 2008, Mr. Pizarro brings to eLandia extensive business experience in strategic leadership and management in the telecommunications and information technology sectors throughout the United States and Latin America. Mr. Pizarro leads the company's targeted acquisition strategy, identifies key growth and business development opportunities and drives financial and operational performance among the company's key assets. In addition, he directs leadership team activities in identifying, acquiring and developing information technology companies that are poised for growth.
Pete Pizarro most recently served as the president and chief executive officer of Telefónica USA, Inc. During his six-year tenure as CEO at the company he was responsible for designing and executing Telefónica's strategy and held full P&L responsibility for its three U.S.-based strategic business segments which included the management of the telecommunication and IT Services needs of U.S. multinational corporations throughout the U.S., Latin America, Central America and Caribbean regions as well as Telefónica's residential and large enterprise business segments in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
Prior to joining Telefónica in 2002, Mr. Pizarro served as the president and CEO of Esavio Services Corporation, a network integration and managed services consulting company based in Philadelphia. In addition, Mr. Pizarro has fulfilled the role of CFO and other executive positions at various international firms including Nobart Inc., The Siman Group and KPMG. His past endeavors include major capital expansions and investment projects in Miami, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador along with significant experience working with local regulators in the telecommunications industry.
Mr. Pizarro provides leadership and serves as the chair of The Beacon Council, Miami-Dade County's official economic development organization. Further, Mr. Pizarro is the chair of the State of Florida Venture Opportunity Fund, and he actively participates on Northwestern University's Kellogg Alumni Advisory Board.
Mr. Pizarro has been recognized by Miami Today as South Florida's Top Communications Leader and by South Florida CEO magazine as one of the 101 Top International Leaders in South Florida. He was recently inducted into the Miami-Dade College Hall of Fame and has appeared on television as a guest on the Miami-Dade Television channel, CNN en Español, Alberto Padilla's "Economía y Finanzas" daily Spanish news program and Comcast's Newsmaker Program segment.
Mr. Pizarro holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Miami and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He has also participated in ongoing senior management and executive leadership development programs at INSEAD, in France, and other educational institutions. -
Dr. M. Lewis Temares

Dr. Temares joined the University of Miami in 1980, and has served the University in a number of leadership roles including Assistant Vice President, Associate Vice President for Computing, and Dean of the College of Engineering. In his long-standing role as Vice President and CIO, he is responsible for central computing, applications development and telecommunications for the University; and as Dean Emeritus of the College of Engineering he provides thought leadership in the area of advanced administrative systems. Dr. Temares also oversees campus and external constituents including the Executive Information and Technology Institute, an organization that provides consulting and instruction in the areas of executive leadership, business processes and professional technology education both nationally and abroad. Dr. Temares also serves on the Dell Platinum Advisory Council and the Microsoft Higher Education Advisory Council, has been named by Computerworld Magazine as one of the world's premier 100 IT Leaders and is a senior member of the IEEE. Prior to his appointment at the University of Miami, he developed IT and computing expertise while working for IBM and for the City University of New York. Dr. Temares earned his undergraduate degree in Business from City College, his M.B.A. from Baruch College, his Masters of Science in Business from Columbia University, and his Ph.D. in Statistics and Marketing from City University, all located in New York City. Dr. Temares is also a frequent keynote speaker, author and presenter at academic and information technology conferences around the world.

Charles J. Fernandez

Charles "Carlos" Fernandez joined the eLandia International Inc. board of directors in January, 2007 bringing a wealth of knowledge on financial, operational and administrative matters as well as demonstrated leadership in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and governance programs. As an audit partner and managing director with the international accounting firm KPMG, Mr. Fernandez was involved with traditional audit services as well as mergers and acquisitions, forensic accounting, litigation support and other advisory services. His experience in international transactions spans a broad spectrum of industries including telecommunications and technology consulting services. Alongside his participation on the eLandia International, Inc. board, Mr. Fernandez is currently a member of the Florida and American Institute of CPAs, serves on the board of directors of The International Bank of Miami, N.A., where he holds the position of chairman of that board's Audit Committee and is a member of the Bank Secrecy Act and Loan committees. Mr. Fernandez also is a former member of the Board of Florida International University, where he served as a member of its Executive Committee.

Sir James Ah Koy KBE

Sir James Michael Ah Koy, KBE, is a distinguished Fijian businessman, politician and international commerce expert. He is founder and executive chairman of the Kelton Group of Companies based in Fiji, overseeing a diverse portfolio of investment interests with primary holdings in real estate. Kelton was a founding partner of the Datec Technology Group now an eLandia International portfolio company. In his public service endeavors, Sir James Ah Koy currently serves as Chairman of the Fiji Islands Trade and Investments Bureau. He has been a member of both Houses of the Fiji Parliament The House of Representatives and The Senate. He served as a Fiji Cabinet Minister in the 1990's in three ministerial portfolios: Minister for Commerce, Industry, Trade, and Public Enterprises; Minister for Youth and Minister for Employment Opportunities and Sports as well as Minister for Finance representing Fiji in the World Bank, Chairman of the Fiji Development Bank. He also has held numerous other positions within Fiji statutory bodies and organizations. He was recognized with an OBE, Member of the Order of the British Empire in 1978. In November 2006, he was conferred a Knighthood (KBE), Knight Commander in the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for his contributions to Papua New Guinea and other Pacific Islands. Sir James Ah Koy has extensive experience serving both public and private companies as he is currently a director on more than forty company boards.
